Help With A Fading Movie Memory

I was in Walgreen's the other day and they were playing Robert
Plant's, Tall Cool One, over the sound system and it reminded me of a
movie I had seen a very long time ago and for the most part forgotten.
The only thing that stayed in my mind was a dance scene with a tall
blonde actress-- Daryl Hannah, I think, who was supposed to have been
a teenager-- dancing to "Lighten up baby I'm in love with you."
Towards the end of the movie I think they were playing Kids in America
or at least I think so. Does anyone know what movie this was?
