Thanks. I had some really good reggae rap on the radio today. I couldn't get
the names of the bands, because I was driving. I'll look them up online
later.

The only reggae rap I can stand is Mad Lion. The album Real Ting is
pretty good.

What I heard wasn't the usual reggae rap. It was done by real musicians who
made their songs friendly and fun. My local college/university radio plays
this shit all the time. The programmers there really know their music.

I hear all the good stuff on the public access radio station here. They
have about any genre you can think of. It's called KRCL. It's the only
radio station here worth listening to. They stream it over the net too.
Right now it's Bad Brad Wheeler's show. He does a drive time mix of lots
of different kinds of music. Blood and Fire Radio which starts tomorrow
at 4am plays a lot of good reggae, and of course Smile Jamaica at 4pm
does too.

Same with my station, over the web. Except the feed keeps breaking. But the
FM reception is excellent in my area.

I'm only a couple blocks from where they broadcast here. I bet I could
even get a show if I interviewed.

Thanks. Just listening to it now.

I just finished listening to two Canadian finger style acoustic guitar
players named Don Ross and Andy McKee. Song called "Tight Trite Night"

This is kinda what I am into mainly, finger-style acoustic playing. I saw
Don Ross live a few times now. He just keeps getting better and better each
year. The guy just never gives up!

Yeah, it wouldn't start until programming change time though. It's
public access, anyone who has enough music or things to fill the slot
can be on.

I like the old blues style finger picked stuff. Robert Johnson and the
likes. I really like Son House because he plays it really hard.

You might then also LOVE Leo Kottke. This one is a killer:

Leo Kottke - "Last Steam Engine Train"

He's playing some big old bad-ass 12-string.

Yeah, but unless I got a drive time slot, I'd have to pick a genre. I'll
do it. I need to find out when they do the interviews.
