Please tell me, she sings
"and it seems like an angel", or
"and it seems like religion"?...
Following are the two versions,
please show me the right text.

Thanks...

---

Eurythmics (sings Annie Lennox)
"Love is a stranger"
[ version 1 : "an angel" ]

-

[music]
[music]

Love is a stranger
in an open car \
To tempt you in
and drive you far away \

[music]

Love is a stranger
in an open car \
To tempt you in
and drive you far away \

[music]

And I want you \
And I want you \
And I want you, so
it's an obsession \

[music]

And I want you \
And I want you \
And I want you, so
it's an obsession \

[music]

Love is a danger
of a different kind \
To take you away
and leave you far behind \

[music]

And love,love,love,
is a dangerous drug \
You have to receive it
and you still can't
get enough of the stuff \

[music]

It's savage and it's cruel
and it shines like destruction \
Comes in like the flood
and it seems like an angel \
It's noble and it's brutal
it distorts and deranges \
And it wrenches you up
and you're left like a zombie \

[music]

And I want you \
And I want you \
And I want you, so
it's an obsession \

[music]
[music]

It's guilt edged glamorous
and sleek by design \ You know it's
jealous by nature, false and unkind \

It's hard and restrained
and it's totally cool \
It touches and it teases
as you stumble in the debris \

[music]

And I want you \
And I want you \
And I want you, so
it's an obsession \

[music]

And I want you \
And I want you \
And I want you, so
it's an obsession \

[music]

And I want you \
And I want you \
And I want you, so
it's an obsession \

[music]

And I want you \
And I want you \
And I want you, so
it's an obsession \

[...]

[end]

Hi, i'm substitute for swen_news because
his news-server delays to update messages.

So, swen_news says:

<< ..Feel sure?...
Heard, not take on trust from lyrics?...
I had listen again, i have tried to convince me,
but really "religion" does not come,
fades, and get prove itself "an angel".

I'm italian and i'm learning (mostly
because i was not born anglophone),
so, excuse possible mistakes. >>

-

Excuse him, it learns.
What i do write for greetings?...
"Cheerio" is good?
(not "bye-bye"... other...?)
Usually what you prefer?...
(in italy "ciao", besides "cheerio",
is both "hi" and "bye", as say:
ciao/on is "hi", ciao/off is "bye")

With the greatest of respect, you already said that you are not an English
native speaker. I am, and I assure you categorically that it's "religion".

Having said that, if you prefer to hear "an angel", then good for you...

LOL! It wasn't so much that I didn't understand the individual words as
such - I just had no idea why he was asking me how much (or even how many!)
money I wanted...
