"Lucky, lucky, lucky me.." - lyrics to which Italian tune?
(too old to reply)

The words I know:

chorus:
Lucky, lucky, lucky me,
I'm a lucky son-of-a-gun,
I work 8 hours,
I sleep 8 hours,
That leaves 8 hours for fun.

Any leads?

That doesn't seem to be a tune but a poem.

You're right, it does. But there were two entries with the same text,
and both fitted the description of the lyrics that were asked for. The
person who asked hasn't written back, so I don't know whether it's the
right one or not...

The citations given in the last reply WERE from a poem. I sent an e-mail to
the writer of the poem, and he said that part of what he included was from a
song he had heard as a child (he didn't recall where), so I'm still in the
dark in terms of the lyrics.

Any other ideas on where to look?

Thanks.
